Ananya Panday, a Bollywood actress, will portray the lead in the upcoming streaming series ‘Call Me Bae’.
On Thursday, actor Varun Dhawan uploaded a delightful video in which he introduced Ananya Panday as Bae in the next series.
Ananya can be seen in the film channeling her inner fashionista, lecturing Varun on the subtleties of fashion and couture in a lively monologue. The series cameras have begun to roll.
‘Call Me Bae’ is about a millionaire fashionista Bae (played by Ananya Panday), who is shunned by her ultra-rich family due to a scandal.
For the first time, she is left to fend for herself as she overcomes stereotypes, negotiates prejudices, and explores her actual self on this adventure.
Collin D’Cunha directs ‘Call Me Bae’, a Dharmatic Entertainment production with Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Somen Mishra serving as Executive Producers.
The series, created by Ishita Moitra, who also co-wrote it with Samina Motlekar and Rohit Nair, will be available on Prime Video soon.
