Today, Havas Group introduces Havas Play, a new global network that will capture consumers’ attention and provide long-term economic impact by delivering meaningful experiences at the crossroads of entertainment, sports, technology, and fandom.
Havas Play was founded on the concept that activating where consumers’ interests are active leads to more meaningful engagement and greater purchases.
This worldwide network will enable all brands, from the arts and technology to healthcare and consumer products, to activate consumer passion points.
Havas Play will integrate existing agency brands and expertise within the organization as a dedicated network within the Havas ecosystem, scaling across all of Havas’ key territories and retiring the Havas Sports and Havas Sports & Entertainment brands in markets where they presently exist.
In India, three businesses will merge and rebrand as Havas Play: Havas Sports and Entertainment and Havas Content, all of which are part of Havas Media Group India, and Cake India, which is part of Havas Creative India.
R Venkatasubramanian, President and National Head of Investments at Havas Media Group India have been tasked with leading Havas Play in India. Havas Play will be part of the Havas Media Group India network, which will be overseen by Mohit Joshi as CEO. Arun Kumar Rao, Senior Vice President, Prachi Narayan, Vice President, and Rajika Mittra, Managing Partner, will report to Venkat and manage the Sports, Content, and Entertainment mandates, respectively.
The launch simplifies existing services the network offers to clients under various marques today. Havas Play leverages upskill and expands upon existing talent to provide strategy, ideation, creative, production, project management, and distribution across a range of core services: partnerships, influencer marketing, experiential & live events, sponsorships, social media activation & amplification, and branded entertainment.
