Netflix has added a new mobile game to its lineup called ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge,’ which is a modern take on the classic TMNT arcade games.
Shredder’s Revenge was originally released for PC and consoles last year, but users can now play it on iOS or Android with a Netflix subscription, according to IANS.
The new game features pixel art and side-scrolling levels, and it can be played by up to six people at the same time.
Furthermore, the game is designed to be welcoming for players who may not have grown up with the original TMNT arcade games, making it easier for them to participate, according to the report.
Last month, the streaming giant had said that the ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge’ game would be launched this year, and “players will be able to kick shell with Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, Michelangelo or other familiar friends in this tubular ’80s-inspired beat them up”.
According to the company, players will find old-school gameplay improved with new fighting mechanics, as well as adventures with a new story mode.
