Latest NewsOnAir Radio live-stream global ranking measurement for listenership across age-groups reveals that more than one third of the global listeners (excluding India) are in the age group of 18 to 44, corroborating NewsOnAir App’s huge popularity among the youth across the world.
In the latest rankings of top countries in the world (excluding India) where All India Radio (AIR) live-streams on NewsOnAir app are most popular, Spain has entered the Top 10 list for the first time ever by ousting Papua New Guinea. Fiji continued to dominate at the top position for two consecutive fortnights, according to listenership data released by India’s pubcaster and AIR’s parent, Prasar Bharati.
Among the top radio streams globally (excluding India), AIR Dharamshala is a new entrant, while AIR Manjeri and FM Gold Mumbai have made a comeback by displacing Asmita Mumbai, AIR Telugu and AIR Chennai Rainbow from the top list.
More than 240 radio services of AIR are live-streamed on NewsOnAir, which is Prasar Bharati’s official app. These streams on NewsOnAir have a large number of listeners not just in India, but also globally in more than 85 countries.
These rankings are based on data from December 16-21, 2021.
