The audio social media platform Clubhouse has appointed Parijat Kaushik as head of partnerships of India.
Kaushik shared this information on his LinkedIn page.
He is the first international employee of the platform. In his new role, he will be responsible for scaling the company’s India operations.
Prior to Clubhouse, he was leading marketing for the South Asia region for TikTok and Resso. He has also worked with Hungama and TinyOwl.
Kaushik is an integrated marketing generalist with more than 17 years of experience in media, entertainment and technology domains.
Moreover, the platform will roll out local language versions of its Indian app. It will begin with the top four to six regional languages, including Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, and Bengali, and add others along the way.
