In these uncertain times, when the institutes of higher education have been taking up and facing challenges, TV9 Bangla is  recognizing  them in a first ever such initiative, “Academic Excellence Awards 2021-22”.

Under this award program, institutes have been recognized varying categories by TV9 Bangla. The Academic Excellence Award, which premiered on TV9 Bangla to recognize excellence in academics, is available on https://bit.ly/3yFpYOz and https://bit.ly/3Axzbci, a TV9 press release said.

As the first initiative of TV9 Bangla Academic Excellence Award, it honoured University of Engineering & Management (UEM) under “Research” category. Founded in the year 2014 and positioned at the core of the CBD, New Town, this institute offers ample corporate placements to its students.

Barrackpore based Swami Vivekananda Group of Institutions has been conferred the Academic Excellence Award under “Infrastructure” category.

Academic Excellence Award of TV9 Bangla honoured Dumdum-based Sur Institute of Technology of JIS Group, Eastern India’s best Engineering Education Institute of Technology, under “Skill Development” category.

Agarpara JIS University has added a feather in the cap by bagging the award in category “Academics”.

Located in an industrial town, Bengal’s Kalyani houses JIS College of Engineering. The college’s USP of excellent faculty has made TV9 Bangla Academic Excellence Award to give an award to the college under “Faculty” category.

At the helm of exploring the professional world or honing students’ talents Shankar Da’s Coaching Centre deserves mention, which has been honoured under “Competitive Exam” category.

The best “Placement” award has been conferred on the Greater Kolkata College of Engineering and Management.

Subash Bose Institute of Hotel Management has bagged an award in the “Placement” category under Academic Excellence Award
