Actor Chris Pratt is set to return as former Navy SEAL James Reece in Amazon’s upcoming project ‘Savage Son’. The project is based on the third novel of the same name by author Jack Carr from ‘The Terminal List’ book series.
It will continue the story of Reece, who faces another dangerous mission.
According to an ANI report, which quoted a Variety article, while Pratt will once again play Reece in the series, it is not yet clear whether the project will be developed as the third season of ‘The Terminal List’ or as a separate spin-off.
‘Savage Son’ is described as a fast-paced military thriller in which former Navy SEAL sniper Reece faces his most personal and dangerous mission yet. The story will combine military action, espionage and wilderness survival, exploring the challenges Reece faces when survival becomes personal.
Peter Friedlander, head of global television at Amazon MGM Studios, said that Jack Carr’s storytelling and Pratt’s performance have helped the franchise connect with audiences.
‘Savage Son’ will be produced by Amazon MGM Studios, MRC and Civic Center Media.
