Prime Video has released its list of the most-watched original films and series worldwide for the week of October 26 to November 1. The rankings feature titles from different countries and languages.
According to an Amazon yesterday , ‘Drive – The Pretenders’ topped the list of most-watched Prime Original films worldwide, while ‘The Terminal List’ secured the first position among the most-watched Prime Original series.
The top 10 most-watched Prime Original films included ‘Drive – The Pretenders’, ‘Ali G: Who Iz I?’, ‘Apocalipsis Z: New World’, ‘Love of Your Life’, ‘Masterplan’, ‘Mirzapur: The Movie’, ‘The Love Hypothesis’, ‘Masters of the Universe’, ‘Hotel Transylvania: Transformania’ and ‘Project Hail Mary’.
Among the series, ‘The Terminal List’ topped the worldwide rankings, followed by ‘Carrie’, ‘Reacher’, ‘Neagley’, ‘Helluva Boss’, ‘Off Campus’, ‘Love in Disguise’, ‘Love Transit 35+’, ‘Friends Sex and Games’ and ‘A Love Other Than Yours’.
Amazon also shared separate rankings for non-English original content. ‘Drive – The Pretenders’ topped the non-English original film list, while South Korean series ‘Love in Disguise’ secured the first position among non-English original series.
Indian titles also featured in the rankings. ‘Mirzapur: The Movie’ ranked third among the most-watched non-English original films. Meanwhile, Indian series ‘Chaar Yaar’, ‘Rise and Fall’ and ‘Dupahiya’ secured the sixth, eighth and ninth positions, respectively, among non-English original series.
Amazon said the rankings are based on the total number of Prime Video accounts worldwide that watched a title between Monday and Sunday. For series, the rankings include accounts that watched any available season of a show. The rankings are different from those shown in the Prime Video app, which reflect a shorter period and country-specific viewing data.
