Tata Play Binge has added Gujarati OTT platform JOJO to its growing bouquet of regional streaming services, expanding its content offering for audiences looking for Gujarati entertainment. The partnership will bring JOJO’s catalogue of films, web series, original shows, theatre productions and children’s animated content to Tata Play Binge.
The addition will give viewers access to JOJO’s collection of popular Gujarati titles, along with exclusive digital premieres. The platform has built a growing community of Gujarati entertainment enthusiasts in India and overseas, offering content across different genres and formats.
JOJO’s catalogue includes films such as 3 ‘Ekka’, ‘Fakt Purusho Maate’, ‘Saiyar Mori Re’, ‘Char Fera Nu Chakdol’ and ‘Dhabkaaro’. Its recently added and upcoming titles include ‘Prem Prakran’, ‘Jai Kanhaiya Lal Ki’, ‘Short Circuit’, ‘Behadd’, ‘Mijaaj’, ‘Duniyadari’, ‘Misri’, ‘Vikram No. 1’, ‘Jalso’ and ‘Kya Che Naagji’.
Beyond films and web series, JOJO also offers comedy specials, theatre content and original programming. Its entertainment ecosystem includes JOJO Kidz, which features multilingual rhymes, poems and songs, as well as JOJO Rasoi and other original shows.
The catalogue features performances by prominent Gujarati actors, including Malhar Thakar, Yash Soni, Mitra Gadhavi, Vikram Thakor, Raunaq Kamdar and Esha Kansara. The partnership is expected to make this mix of established favourites and emerging Gujarati stories accessible to a wider audience through Tata Play Binge.
A Tata Play spokesperson said content discovery remains one of the biggest challenges in today’s streaming ecosystem, with viewers often having to navigate multiple applications and services to find content. The spokesperson said the company’s focus has been on simplifying this experience by bringing different entertainment choices together on a single platform.
The spokesperson added that JOJO’s inclusion strengthens Tata Play Binge’s regional content offering and allows viewers to discover a wider range of Gujarati stories, from films and original shows to comedy and theatre, through an integrated viewing experience.
Dhruvin Shah, Managing Director, Group CEO and Founder of JOJO, said distribution plays an important role in expanding the reach of Gujarati entertainment. He noted that JOJO’s aim has been to go beyond building a content library and create more opportunities for audiences to discover and engage with Gujarati content.
Shah added that Tata Play Binge provides JOJO with another platform to connect with audiences across India and expands the ways in which viewers can access its growing catalogue. He said the company would continue to focus on expanding across content, distribution and new formats while developing JOJO as a broader Gujarati entertainment ecosystem.
With this addition, Tata Play Binge continues to expand its regional streaming portfolio, bringing content from different languages and entertainment categories together in one place.
