TukTuki, the micro-drama entertainment platform, has launched ‘Ashwathama’, an AI-created mythological supernatural thriller that brings one of the Mahabharata’s most haunting figures into the present day. Announced on October 29, 2026, the series explores the collision between an ancient past and the moral struggles of Kaliyug.
The story follows ‘Ashwathama’, who has wandered the earth for five thousand years, cursed with immortality and a wound that never heals. Searching endlessly for an end to his suffering, his life takes an unexpected turn in Burhanpur, where Inspector Ananya, an upright police officer, is fighting against Raavan Singh, a powerful land grabber.
When Ananya’s life comes under threat, a mysterious force begins eliminating her enemies. The force behind these killings is Ashwathama, whose arrival changes the course of the conflict.
Meanwhile, Raavan Singh, desperate to destroy his rivals, invokes a dark power fuelled by human greed and sin: Kali, the embodiment of Kaliyug’s darkness. However, the supernatural force he summons proves to be beyond his control, turning his pursuit of power into a far greater threat.
As Ananya and Ashwathama join forces to stop Kali, the battle develops into more than a confrontation with a supernatural enemy. It becomes a struggle against the greed, violence and moral decay that exist within human beings themselves.
Created entirely using artificial intelligence, ‘Ashwathama’ combines mythological themes with a contemporary setting and a supernatural thriller narrative. The series explores redemption, sacrifice and the consequences of past deeds, placing Ashwathama’s ancient curse at the centre of its story.
Through its central character, the series raises a larger question: is Ashwathama’s immortality merely a punishment, or is it a responsibility he must carry until the world needs him most? By bringing the legendary figure into the struggles of Kaliyug, ‘Ashwathama’ offers a story that connects mythology with questions of morality, power and human nature.
