Amazon said the weekly lists are calculated using the total number of Prime Video accounts worldwide that watched a title between Monday and Sunday. The figures differ from rankings displayed within the Prime Video app, which are based on a shorter viewing period and country-specific data.
For television series, the rankings count accounts that watched any available season of a title.
