Ad tech company PubMatic has partnered with streaming platform RunnTV to give advertisers programmatic access to more than 90 curated free ad-supported streaming television (FAST) channels, reaching an audience across over 12 million monthly active devices in India.
The partnership, according to a press statement from PubMatic yesterday, will enable advertisers to buy inventory through their existing demand-side platforms (DSPs) or activate campaigns directly through PubMatic’s unified platform.
The inventory is available immediately, with buyers able to target individual channels or specific audiences based on campaign objectives.
The collaboration comes amid the expansion of India’s connected TV (CTV) market.
According to data cited in the release from Ormax Media, CTV users in India have grown 65 per cent year-on-year.
RunnTV offers content across entertainment, movies, music, news, devotional, lifestyle and regional genres, spanning Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets.
PubMatic’s platform combines campaign activation, audience discovery and decision intelligence to simplify access to premium CTV audiences.
“RunnTV on PubMatic removes operational friction,” said Amit Kr. Yadav, VP–South Asia & MM at PubMatic.
