Actor Ranbir Kapoor shared a funny story about his marriage proposal to Alia Bhatt during a special episode of Sony Entertainment Television’s quiz show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ (KBC).

According to a Reel posted by Sony Entertainment Television on Instagram yesterday, Ranbir recalled how he planned to propose to Alia during their trip to Kenya’s Maasai Mara in 2022.

Ranbir said he had secretly informed their guide and driver and asked them to stop in the jungle. He had brought a ring and planned to get down on one knee while the guide took photographs of the special moment.

Amitabh Bachchan jokingly pointed out that there should be proof of the proposal. Ranbir then revealed that three lions were standing around 100 feet away at the time.

Describing himself as a mouse standing in front of his “lioness”, Ranbir said he got down on one knee and asked Alia to marry him. He called it an extraordinary experience that he would always remember.

Ranbir proposed to Alia during their trip to Maasai Mara in 2022. The couple got married in April that year.The ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ Diwali special episode featuring Ranbir Kapoor will air on October 29 and 30 at 9 pm on Sony Entertainment Television.
