The animated series ‘Avatar: Seven Havens’ has been renewed for two more seasons, taking the show through Seasons 3 and 4. The announcement was made during the series’ panel at New York Comic Con on October 9, according to an ANI report citing Variety.
Created by Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko, ‘Avatar: Seven Havens’ is part of the ‘Avatar: The Last Airbender’ universe. The series follows Pavi, a young Earthbender who discovers that she is the new Avatar after Korra.
The story is set in a world damaged by a devastating disaster. Pavi is viewed as a threat rather than a saviour and faces danger from both humans and spirits. Along with her long-lost twin sister, Nisha, she must uncover the truth about her origins and protect the Seven Havens, the remaining safe places for civilisation.
The voice cast includes Saheli Khan as Pavi, Aishu Devan as Nisha, Major Curda, Akshay Khanna, Sakina Jaffrey, Darren Barnet, Dianne Doan and Dee Bradley Baker. The series is produced by Avatar Studios and Nickelodeon Animation Studios.
‘Avatar: Seven Havens’ premiered on Paramount+ on October 9. The release dates for the third and fourth seasons have not yet been announced.
