The makers of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming film ‘Love and War’ have unveiled Ranbir Kapoor’s first-look poster, according to an ANI report from Mumbai.

The actor is seen in an intense and retro avatar in the new poster.

In the first look, Ranbir is seen sitting in the driver’s seat of a vintage turquoise convertible, with classic architecture in the background.

He sports short slicked-back hair, a thin pencil moustache and round sunglasses. He is also seen wearing a light-coloured knit polo shirt.

The most striking part of the poster is Ranbir’s injured left arm. His arm, resting outside the car door, appears bruised and covered in blood, with a visible bullet or gunshot wound. Despite the injuries, Ranbir has a calm expression, adding mystery to his character.

The first look also gives a glimpse of the visual style of ‘Love and War’. The poster is accompanied by background music, highlighting the film’s combination of music and visual presentation, which is associated with Bhansali’s filmmaking.

The film stars Kapoor alongside wife Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal. The film is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and brings the three actors together for the upcoming period drama.
