Amazon Prime Video has released its new romantic comedy film ‘The Love Hypothesis’, based on Ali Hazelwood’s New York Times best-selling romance novel. The film is now streaming globally on Prime Video.

According to an Amazon news, the film stars Lili Reinhart as Olive, a brilliant Ph.D. candidate who is focused on building her career in academia. Tom Bateman plays Adam Carlsen, an intimidating professor.The story begins when Olive finds out that her best friend Ahn has feelings for Olive’s crush, Jeremy. To convince Ahn that she has moved on, Olive suddenly kisses Adam, a professor she barely knows.

What starts as an unexpected moment turns into a fake relationship between Olive and Adam. They agree to follow certain rules and boundaries, but things become complicated when their pretend relationship starts feeling real.

The film also stars Rachel Marsh as Ahn, Olive’s best friend, and Nicholas Duvernay as Jeremy, Olive’s crush.‘The Love Hypothesis’ is directed by Claire Scanlon and written by Sarah Rothschild. The film is based on Hazelwood’s novel.
