‘Family Full House with Rohit Sharma’ has recorded 7.62 million unique viewers on SonyLIV during its opening viewing window from September 19 to 21, 2026, according to data released by Chrome DM COTT. The family game show, which marks cricketer Rohit Sharma’s entertainment debut, premiered on SonyLIV on September 19, with new episodes streaming every Saturday and Sunday.
The viewership data released by Chrome DM COTT, India’s OTT audience measurement platform, shows a notable gender split, with male audiences accounting for 5.08 million viewers or 67 percent of the total reach, while female viewers contributed 2.54 million or 33 percent. The M 18–24 cohort emerged as the largest individual segment at 1.92 million viewers, followed by M 25–35 at 1.47 million and F 18–24 at 0.98 million.

According to a press release, the male-led viewership pattern marks a reversal from the trend seen across reality titles measured by COTT through August and early September, when female cohorts occupied the top two positions. Audiences between 18 and 35 years across both genders accounted for 5.15 million viewers, representing 68 percent of the total reach. The 35+ cohorts contributed 1.31 million viewers, while audiences below 18 accounted for 1.16 million.
The state-wise data showed Maharashtra leading among individually tracked markets with 1.72 million viewers, followed by Uttar Pradesh at 1.12 million and Delhi NCR at 0.92 million. Karnataka recorded 0.67 million viewers and West Bengal 0.50 million. The three leading markets together contributed 3.76 million viewers, or 49 percent of the total reach, while the Rest of India category accounted for 2.70 million, representing 35 percent.

Mobile devices accounted for the largest share of viewing, with 4.50 million viewers or 59 percent of the total reach. Connected TV contributed 1.10 million viewers, while 2.02 million viewers watched the show across both device types. COTT noted that the comparatively lower CTV share is consistent with the show’s simulcast on Sony Entertainment Television, where large-screen audiences may be watching the linear broadcast rather than the streaming feed.

Pankaj Krishna, Founder and CEO, Chrome DM, said ‘Family Full House with Rohit Sharma’ had recorded a clear gender reversal compared with reality formats measured in recent months. He noted that the 67 percent male audience share, along with M 18–24 and M 25–35 occupying the top two demographic positions, reflected a markedly different audience composition. Krishna also pointed to Maharashtra’s lead at 1.72 million viewers and said the figure tracked with the host’s following in the market.

Krishna also stressed that the 7.62 million figure represents SonyLIV consumption alone, as the programme is simultaneously broadcast on linear television. The combined audience across streaming and television is therefore not captured in the COTT figure. The show’s performance comes as SonyLIV continues to stream the weekend episodes alongside their simulcast on Sony Entertainment Television.

Chrome DM COTT tracks OTT consumption across major streaming services, including SonyLIV, JioHotstar, Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, Amazon MX Player and ZEE5. Its data covers title-level reach, demographic composition, regional distribution and device-level consumption. COTT stated that its published figures are based on actual OTT consumption and may include viewers accessing content through shared subscriber accounts, meaning the numbers can reflect shared access beyond the original subscriber base.
