British actor Lenny Rush has joined HBO’s upcoming ‘Harry Potter’ television series. He will play Dobby, the popular house-elf character from the ‘Harry Potter’ story.
According to a PTI report from Los Angeles today, HBO has also announced that Bonnie Hill will play Ginny Weasley in the second season of the series. She will replace Gracie Cochrane, who played Ginny in the first season.
Along with Rush and Hill, actor Billy Barratt has also joined the cast. He will play Tom Riddle, the younger version of Lord Voldemort.
Tom Riddle later becomes Lord Voldemort, the dark wizard and Harry Potter’s biggest enemy. His character will appear in the second season of the series.
The second season will be based on ‘Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets’, the second book in J.K. Rowling’s popular ‘Harry Potter’ series. The story will continue Harry Potter’s journey at Hogwarts.
HBO’s new ‘Harry Potter’ series is a television adaptation of Rowling’s books. The casting of Dobby, Ginny and young Tom Riddle adds three important characters to the upcoming season.
