BULLET Microdrama has unveiled the trailer of ‘The Dwarka Project’, an original Indian sci-fi anime film created entirely using Trinetra AI, its India-developed AI filmmaking platform.
According to a BULLET Microdrama press release from Mumbai today, the trailer was launched at Anime India on August 31. The 100-minute film is described as India’s first AI-led anime film and is the first content project created entirely on Trinetra AI.
Set in 2166, ‘The Dwarka Project’ follows Parth, a young man from the Marshland who enters the mainland in search of his abducted father. During his journey, he discovers extraordinary powers linked to the underwater city of Dwarka.
Parth is then pulled into a dangerous conflict involving social divisions, advanced technology and a powerful corporation seeking to control the future. He also finds an unlikely ally in his mysterious roommate Vicky.
The film combines an original Indian science-fiction story with anime-style storytelling and explores themes such as technology, social differences, identity, belonging and power.
Azim Lalani, Co-Founder and Chief Business Officer of BULLET Microdrama, said the project aims to explore how AI can help filmmakers create original stories and feature films while working beyond some of the traditional limitations of filmmaking.
