Streaming platform Zee5 has released the teaser of ‘State of Siege: Temple Attack’, it was the first film which was released on Zee5 after the pandemic hit the entire world, which was a tribute to our brave Indian soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the country.
The film dramatizes the events surrounding the terrorist attack on Akshardham Temple in Gujrat in 2002.
Starring Akshaye Khanna, who is making his digital debut with the movie, portrays the role of an NSG officer charged with eliminating the terrorists and securing the area.
The incident has been helmed on September 24, 2002, by two armed terrorists who attacked Akshardham Temple in Gandhinagar, killed 33 people, including a National Security Guard (NSG) commando, and two Gujrat police officer, and injured 80 people.
The two terrorists identified as Ashraf Ali Mohammed Farooq and Murtaza HafizYasin were gunned down by NSG commandos.
State of Siege: Temple Attack, also starred Vivek Dahiya and Gautam Rode in pivotal roles, directed by Ken Ghosh, who is known for movies like Ishq Vishk and Fida, produced by Abhimanyu Singh of Contiloe Pictures.
State of Siege: Temple Attack will premiere on Zee5 on July 9.
