Emraan Hashmi returns in ‘Awarapan 2’ trailer

The trailer of ‘Awarapan 2′ has been released, bringing back Emraan Hashmi as Shivam Pandit nearly two decades after the original film. The sequel promises a darker and more emotional story filled with action, revenge, and redemption.

According to an ANI report from Mumbai today, the trailer shows Shivam returning to face new challenges while dealing with his painful past. The film follows his journey as he seeks revenge and redemption, with high-intensity action and emotional moments taking centre stage.

The trailer also introduces Disha Patani and Shabana Azmi in key roles. While Emraan Hashmi reprises his iconic character, the sequel expands the story with new conflicts and characters.

The film is directed by Nitin Kakkar and produced by Vishesh Bhatt under the Vishesh Films banner. ‘Awarapan 2’ is scheduled to release in theatres on August 14, 2026.
