The fourth week of the Esports World Cup (EWC) 2026 witnessed several historic moments, with 15-year old Street Fighter 6 player Jaime ‘Craime’Bustos becoming the youngest champion in the tournament’s history.

According to an Esports World Cup press release from Paris today,representing Team Falcons the Chilean teenager defeated Japan’s Hibiki 5-2 in the Street Fighter 6 final to claim the title at the age of 15 years, two months and 25 days. With the victory.

Craime also earned $250,000 (around INR 2.3 crore), qualification for Capcom Cup 13 and 1,000 Club Championship points for Team Falcons.

Craime, who made his competitive debut in 2024, said the win was a result of support from everyone around him and expressed his excitement to celebrate the achievement back home in Chile.

Meanwhile, Team Spirit created history by winning the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) Mid Season Cup, becoming the first team from the EECA region to lift the trophy.

Team Spirit defeated Yangon Galacticos 4-3 in a thrilling final and secured a prize share of $1 million (around INR 9.5 crore).

In Overwatch, ZETA DIVISION claimed the OWCS Midseason Championship after defeating Twisted Minds 4-2 in the final. The team secured $400,000 (around INR 3.8 crore), while Kim ‘shu’ Jin-seo was named the tournament’s MVP.

G2 Esports also emerged victorious in the Call of Duty: Warzone Resurgence Series Championship. The team secured the title after a close final and took home $250,000 (around INR 2.3 crore). Anthony ‘Anziety’ Moran was awarded the Sony MVP title for his performance.

The Honor of Kings Play-in Stage also concluded during Week 4, with teams advancing to the next stage of the competition. The Club Championship race remains highly competitive, with Team Falcons holding the lead but several teams still in contention.
