Music composer Devi Sri Prasad is set to make his acting debut with the upcoming film ‘Yellamma’. According to a PTI report from New Delhi today, the film is directed by Venu Yeldandi and stars Bhagyashri Borse in a lead role. It is produced by Shirish and presented by Dil Raju under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations.
The makers announced Devi Sri Prasad’s casting by unveiling his first-look poster on the film’s official X handle on Sunday. The poster also revealed that the award-winning composer will play the character of Parshi in the film.
Popularly known as DSP, Devi Sri Prasad has composed music for several successful films across Telugu, Tamil and Hindi cinema. ‘Yellamma’ will mark his first appearance as an actor on the big screen.
The makers have not yet announced the film’s release date or shared further details about Devi Sri Prasad’s character beyond his name.
