Christopher Nolan’s latest directorial ‘The Odyssey’ has crossed the Rs 165.85 crore mark at the Indian box office, continuing its successful run in theatres.
According to a PTI report from New Delhi today, the epic action-adventure film was released worldwide on July 17 and has received a strong response from audiences in India.
The film had an impressive opening weekend, collecting more than Rs 70 crore , and has continued to perform well at the box office.
‘The Odyssey’ features a star-studded cast led by Matt Damon as Odysseus. The film also stars Tom Holland as Telemachus, Zendaya as Athena, Robert Pattinson as Antinous, Lupita Nyong’o, Anne Hathaway as Penelope, and Charlize Theron as Calypso, along with several other prominent actors.
With its latest earnings, ‘The Odyssey’ has become another Rs 100 crore-plus film for Christopher Nolan in India after the blockbuster success of ‘Oppenheimer’.
The latest milestone highlights the filmmaker’s strong fan following in the country and the continued popularity of his films among Indian audiences.
