Sony Entertainment Television has released two new promos for ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’Season 18, giving viewers a glimpse of the show’s new theme, ‘Sochna Padega’.
According to a SET press release, the latest campaign highlights that this season, contestants will need to think carefully before answering questions, instead of relying only on memory.
In the first promo, host Amitabh Bachchan visits a café and asks the waiter whether the restaurant serves better Indian or Chinese food. Instead of replying immediately, the waiter pauses and says, ‘Sochna Padega’ (I have to think).
Amused by the response, Amitabh jokingly asks him to bring everything except Chinese. The light-hearted exchange shows how the phrase has become a part of everyday conversations.
The second promo features Bachchan talking to the plants on his balcony while watering them. He jokingly asks whether they will bloom after being cared for so well and then says, ‘Ab yeh mat kahiyega humse ki sochna padega’.
He then explains the idea behind the new season, saying that remembering the answer alone will not be enough, and contestants will have to think before locking in their final answer.
The new promos introduce the refreshed format of ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ Season 18 through simple and relatable situations, reinforcing the message that thoughtful decision-making will be at the heart of the quiz show this season.
The latest season of the iconic quiz show hosted by Big B — except for one year when it was hosted by Shah Rukh Khan — will debut on August 10 on Sony Entertainment Television and streaming platform SonyLIV airing Monday to Friday at 9 pm.
