ZEE5 Kannada has announced a new content slate featuring films, original series, reality shows, non-fiction programmes and live sports as the platform looks to expand its Kannada entertainment offering.

Leading the new slate is ‘Karavali’, starring Prajwal Devaraj and Raj B. Shetty and directed by Gurudatha Ganiga. According to a Zee5 press release today,the film is positioned as a major theatrical release with pan-India appeal.

The line-up also includes ‘Bitcoin Scam’ and ‘Operation Bangara’, starring Nishvika Naidu.Other upcoming titles include ‘Corporate Love Story’, a long-format series starring Priyanka Upendra, Sanjana Doss and Pranav Sridhar and directed by Pannagabharana, along with ‘Cool Moms’, produced by Endemol Shine India.

The slate also features ‘Kudla Cup’, starring Pruthvi Ambaar and Arjun Kapikad, and ‘Ayyana Mane 2’, starring Kushee Ravi and Akshay Nayaka and directed by Ramesh Indira.

The platform will also offer ‘Vakalath’, a courtroom drama, and ‘Mallika’, a crime thriller starring Roshni Prakash. Its non-fiction line-up includes ‘Jungle Power’ and ‘Halli Power’, while its AI-powered content slate features titles such as ‘Garuda’, ‘Vikram Vetal’, ‘Shiv Sati’, ‘Chandrakanta’, ‘Tirupati Balaji’, ‘Barbarik Narmada’ and ‘Ram Anjanay Yudh’. ZEE5 Kannada will also offer live sports including FIFA, Bundesliga, Coppa Italia and Supercoppa Italiana.

Deepak Sriramulu, Chief Channel Officer, Zee Kannada and Business Head, Kannada ZEE5, said the new slate reflects the platform’s focus on bringing diverse Kannada stories across genres and formats to a single destination.
