Zee TV has strengthened its position in the Hindi GEC space with two of its fiction shows, ‘Vasudha’ and ‘Ganga Mai Ki Betiyan’, emerging among the top-rated shows on television.
While ‘Vasudha’ has retained the No.1 position for the second consecutive week with a TVR of 2.0, ‘Ganga Mai Ki Betiyan’ has secured a strong place on the charts with a TVR of 1.7.
According to a Zee TV press release, the growing success of both shows reflects the audience’s strong connection with the channel’s storytelling and characters. The channel has continued to attract viewers with emotionally engaging narratives and dramatic twists, helping it remain one of the most-watched Hindi entertainment channels.
The channel is also preparing for another major storyline twist with an upcoming wedding sequence in ‘Tumm Se Tumm Tak’. The makers believe the new track is expected to bring fresh drama and further intensify audience interest in the coming weeks, adding more competition in the television ratings space.
Reacting to the success of ‘Vasudha’, actress Priya Thakur said the overwhelming response from viewers feels extremely special because audiences have deeply connected with the show’s characters and emotional journey. She shared that seeing ‘Vasudha’ become one of the top-rated shows in the country feels surreal and added that the entire team is grateful for the immense support and love coming from viewers.
Meanwhile, Amandeep Sidhu, who plays Sneha in ‘Ganga Mai Ki Betiyan’, expressed happiness over the show consistently performing strongly on the TRP charts. She said it feels rewarding to see Zee TV receive such appreciation from audiences and added that the cast and crew feel like one big family celebrating the success together. She also congratulated the team of ‘Vasudha’ for maintaining the top spot once again.
With both shows continuing to perform strongly and fresh twists lined up in upcoming episodes, Zee TV appears set to further tighten its grip on the Hindi GEC space in the coming weeks.
