Behind every closed door are untold stories of women — stories of silent struggles, sacrifices for family, and dreams put on hold. These voices often remain unheard, but Zee TV now aims to bring them to the forefront with its new reality show, ‘Kahaani Har Ghar Ki’.
As part of its refreshed brand identity ‘Aapka Apna ZEE’, the channel is deepening its connection with viewers by introducing content that sparks meaningful conversations. Produced by Zee Studios and anchored by popular actor Juhi Parmar, the show premieres on September 1 and will air Monday to Friday at 6.30 pm.
Parmar, loved for her empowering portrayals on television, returns not just as an actor but as ‘Aapki Juhi’— a listener, mentor, and compassionate guide. The show provides women across India a safe and respectful platform to share deeply personal journeys covering emotional neglect, family pressures, relationship struggles, and career sacrifices, the channel said.
Each episode will feature real stories, candid conversations, and expert insights from psychologists and special guests, with the aim of breaking stereotypes, inspiring empathy and shining a light on hidden realities inside households.
The press conference held to announce the show mirrored the sensitivity of the show. Media representatives were given headphones to experience an audio story from the series, unfolding a real conflict without visuals. Just as curiosity peaked, Parmar took the stage to emphasize the importance of bringing women’s voices forward.
Raghavendra Hunsur, Chief Creative Officer, ZEEL, said, “ ‘Kahaani Har Ghar Ki’ is not just a show, it is a shoulder to lean on and a friend who listens. From women fighting personal battles to unsung heroes achieving quietly, we aim to bring their truths to light. This platform celebrates resilience and strength.”
Mangesh Kulkarni, Chief Channel Officer, Zee TV, added, “Our endeavour is to present content with purpose, rooted in reality. With ‘Kahaani Har Ghar Ki’, we create a space for conversations often left unsaid in households. Led by Juhi Parmar’s empathetic presence, the format will strike a meaningful chord with audiences.”
