Zee Entertainment Enterprises has strengthened its dominance in the Hindi movie broadcasting space, achieving a three-year high with a 28.7 percent share in the Hindi movie cluster during the second quarter of FY26. The media giant continues to solidify its leadership across languages, driven by blockbuster premieres, strategic programming, and a robust movie portfolio.
According to The Economic Times report, Zee Cinema has reclaimed its position as the No. 1 Hindi movie channel in the 15+ HSM Urban market, fueled by high-impact premieres such as ‘Jaat’, ‘Game Changer’, and ‘Pushpa: The Rule – Part 2’. The latter emerged as the highest-rated movie premiere of FY26 so far, significantly contributing to Zee’s performance in the segment.
Zee’s Free-to-Air (FTA) channels, Anmol Cinema and Zee Action, also registered record-breaking viewership, each crossing over 116 million viewers in the 15+ HSM Urban market during the quarter — the highest reach among all channels and genres.
