Zee News is set to transform the landscape of election coverage with its innovative ‘Dilli Ka Dangal’ series, which premiered yesterday. In this ground-breaking initiative, the channel will harness advanced AI technology and data analytics to deliver real-time, precise exit poll predictions for the 2025 Delhi elections, setting a new benchmark in political reporting.
According to a press release from the news network, at the core of this initiative is Zeenia, Zee News’ very own AI-powered news anchor, who will provide exclusive insights and real-time analysis of voter sentiment during exit polls.
By combining AI-driven predictions with advanced sentiment analysis, the channel aims to offer viewers the most accurate, data-backed insights as the election unfolds. Historically, Zee News has built a reputation for accurate election forecasting, and this latest approach is poised to further solidify its legacy of trust and precision in political journalism.
The comprehensive coverage will extend well beyond exit polls. On voting day yesterday Zee News delivered live reports from polling stations across all 70 constituencies in Delhi, ensuring that votes are accounted for in real time.
This robust approach will culminate on the counting day on February 8 when Zee News plans to provide a minute-by-minute, seat-by-seat breakdown of the election results, ensuring that viewers have the most up-to-date and precise information at their fingertips.
This ambitious project is the result of a strategic partnership with India Consolidated Private Limited, a subsidiary of Kcore Analytics. Through this collaboration, Zee News is integrating sophisticated AI technology with powerful data analytics tools, delivering exclusive, data-backed insights into voter behaviour and preferences across Delhi’s constituencies.
Rahul Sinha, Managing Editor of Zee News, expressed his enthusiasm about the new initiative, stating, “As the election season intensifies, Zee News is taking the lead in revolutionizing election journalism. With Zeenia, powered by AI, we are bringing our viewers the most precise, real-time political analysis, enhancing their understanding of voter sentiment across the capital city of Delhi.
“Our AI-driven approach ensures that Zee News delivers not only accurate predictions but also deep insights that will define the way elections are covered in the years to come.”
Karan Abhishek Singh, CEO of Zee Media Corporation Limited (ZMCL), added, “At ZMCL, we are dedicated to transforming the election experience for our viewers. Our AI-powered approach, combined with real-time insights and in-depth analysis, ensures that Zee Media remains the most trusted source for election news and predictions.”
