Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited (ZEEL), India’s leading content and technology powerhouse, has announced the launch of its new experiential vertical, Zee Live, with its first flagship event ‘Marathi Vajlach Pahije’ (MVP). The event, presented in association with World Of Vibes, marks the beginning of a vibrant cultural chapter for Maharashtra.
Set to take place on October 12, 2025, at Phoenix Market City, Pune, MVP is more than a live concert — it’s a cultural movement celebrating the dynamic pulse of Marathi youth culture. The event aims to amplify the voices of a generation that thrives on hip-hop, indie music, and street art — creative forms that mirror the bold and evolving identity of modern Maharashtrians.
The festival will feature over 40 artists, including Kratex, Sanju Rathod, Shreyas & Vedang, MC Gawthi, and Patya the Doc, who will deliver high-octane performances reflecting the raw, original, and unapologetically local spirit of today’s youth. MVP blends tradition with modern artistic expression, turning Marathi pride into a rhythm, a lyric, and a cultural beat that connects generations.
To further extend the experience, Zee Live has partnered with Marathi Zee 5 to ensure that the energy of MVP reaches audiences beyond the live stage. Through exclusive digital content, artist spotlights, and behind-the-scenes stories, the festival will build an always-on ecosystem — connecting fans across India to the movement, its music, and its makers.
Speaking about the initiative, Gareth Eswin Thomas, Business Head, Zee Live, said, “Marathi Vajlach Pahije is not just an event; it’s an expression of cultural identity and youthful creativity. It represents how live experiences can capture the energy of a generation, creating moments that are felt, shared, and remembered. This is the new language of cultural celebration.”
Echoing his thoughts, V.R. Hema, Business Head, Marathi Zee 5 & Zee Marathi, added, “Through our collaboration with Zee Live, we are giving Marathi youth a stage that is both local and global. By amplifying their voices across our digital platforms, we are celebrating not just performances but the stories, struggles, and dreams behind them. MVP represents the next era of regional storytelling — bold, proud, real, and connected.”
Presented by Zee Live, Marathi Zee 5, and World of Vibes, Marathi Vajlach Pahije is more than just an event — it’s the start of a cultural revolution. From music to identity and from moments to memories, the festival celebrates Maharashtra’s artistic energy powered by its youth and their vision for a new-age Marathi soundscape.
