In a move that underlines a deep commitment to authentic regional storytelling, Kesar TV has officially been rebranded as Zee J&K Ladakh.
The newly unveiled identity aims to serve as a vibrant and truthful voice for the people of Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh, marking a powerful shift in regional journalism. Far more than a cosmetic change, this transformation ushers in a renewed editorial mission focused on integrity, empowerment, and grassroots connection.
According to a press release issued by Zee Media Corporation Limited (ZMCL), Zee J&K Ladakh has adopted a bold orange and red visual language, symbolising the resilience, sacrifice, and cultural richness of the region’s people. The rebranding is part of Zee Media’s broader mission to deliver credible, community-focused journalism that reflects the pulse of India’s northern frontier.
With a promise of inclusivity and regional pride, Zee J&K Ladakh seeks to bridge the gap between citizens and governance by amplifying real voices from the ground.
The press release further highlighted that this evolution represents a major stride toward national unity and regional representation. As a hyper-local platform, Zee J&K Ladakh will shine a spotlight on stories often left untold — capturing the culture, concerns, and aspirations that define Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh. It will serve as a vehicle for change, committed to presenting balanced, development-driven narratives.

Karan Abhishek Singh, CEO of Zee Media Corporation Limited, commented on the rebranding, saying, “With the strategic rebranding, Zee J&K Ladakh aims to be the voice of a region that has long been at the crossroads of history, culture, and geopolitics. In fact, it is a bold step towards redefining how regional stories are told, heard, and understood. We look forward to bringing the stories of Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh to the forefront, with integrity, empathy, and a relentless focus on truth.”
Echoing this sentiment, Tarique Faridy, Editor of Salaam TV & Zee J&K Ladakh, added, “Zee J&K Ladakh is committed to shedding light on the issues that matter most to the people of Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh. We are focused on providing the region with a platform for authentic storytelling, tackling everything from local politics to the aspirations of its youth. Through this, we aim to foster understanding, cultivate hope, and inspire change within and beyond the region.”
With its 24/7 broadcast model, Zee J&K Ladakh is poised to deliver accurate, in-depth news on politics, governance, civic issues, technology, entrepreneurship, and sustainability. The revamped Tv channel will also have a digital-first strategy.
