Zee Entertainment Enterprises (ZEEL) journey as the official broadcast partner of the DP World International League T20 (DP World ILT20) has gotten off to a strong start, with top advertisers across key consumer categories already onboarded.
Paytm, Kurkure Playz, Kent RO, and Gulf Oil are among the first sponsors for the DP World ILT20 in 2023.
This is a significant milestone for the global cricketing league and demonstrates its differentiation in terms of league player quality, six franchise brand power, and the massive strength of the Zee platform.
With the inaugural edition of the DP World ILT20 set to begin on January 13, the cricketing event has piqued the interest of global conglomerates as well as marquee Indian brands in becoming advertising partners of the league. Zee Entertainment and DP World ILT20 are collaborating closely to build a strong fan base and engage the global cricketing community.
Zee’s global network allows brands to engage with a wide and diverse range of demographics across languages and geographies. Zee is making significant strides in providing its partners with extended engagement with their consumers as it re-enters the sports broadcast business, the company said in a statement.
Commenting on the sponsorship, Rahul Johri, President – Business, South Asia, Zee Entertainment Enterprises, said, “As we embark on this exciting journey, we would like to extend a warm welcome to all our partners. We are delighted with the overwhelming response for the DP World ILT20’s inaugural edition. At Zee, we are committed to taking this unique cricketing extravaganza to our global audiences and firmly believe that the league will emerge as one of the biggest and most popular global cricketing events.”
