ZEE Entertainment Enterprises Limited (ZEEL), a major player in the Indian content and entertainment industry, has set ambitious goals for the upcoming third season of the DP World International League T20 (ILT20).
Scheduled to take place from January 11 to February 9, 2025, this season promises to be a grand spectacle with 34 matches, aiming to attract a remarkable 230 million viewers.
As the official broadcast partner, ZEE Entertainment plans to deliver an exhilarating cricket experience through its extensive network of 15 linear channels and its OTT platform, ZEE5. The matches will be available for live streaming, providing cricket enthusiasts with global access every evening.
ZEE’s strategy for ILT20 Season 3 includes broadening its reach by incorporating South Indian channels, aiming to capture a diverse audience across India. This expansion aligns with ZEE’s goal to offer a unique “carnival experience” for cricket fans, particularly targeting Indian travelers in Dubai. The company’s extensive broadcast network and digital platform will be leveraged to maximize viewer engagement.
Ashish Sehgal, Chief Growth Officer – Digital & Broadcast Revenue at ZEEL, commented, “Our goal is to offer cricket lovers a unique carnival experience, combining world-class cricket with luxury and comfort. This event is a golden opportunity for advertisers to connect with premium audiences and showcase their brands.”
The DP World ILT20, featuring six franchises—Abu Dhabi Knight Riders, Desert Vipers, Dubai Capitals, Gulf Giants, MI Emirates, and Sharjah Warriors—promises a thrilling season of competitive cricket across the UAE.
