The video-streaming platform YouTube is rolling out a transcription feature for its Android app following its introduction on the desktop version.
As per ANI, some users have reported that the new feature is being implemented in the native Android app. Consequently, users will have to wait until it becomes available to them.
The feature has proved to be useful for long videos. It enables users to find or extract their favourite part of a video by searching for the auto-generated transcript. They can read along with the video or directly jump to a specific timecode.
