The company previously mentioned that it was facing disruptions with its messaging service. A website that tracks outages by aggregating status reports from various sources, including user-submitted errors, there were over 37,000 incidents of people in the United States reporting problems with the messaging service.
The Whatsapp Twitter account shared the news, stating, “We’re back, happy chatting!” Earlier, Meta had acknowledged the disruptions, specifically related to “receiving incoming messages and message delivery on Whatsapp,” according to their status dashboard, Reuters reported.
During the outage, the website recorded more than 177,000 users in the United Kingdom and nearly 15,000 users in India reporting issues with WhatsApp.
