Building on its successful launch in 2025 at the inaugural World Audio Visual Entertainment Summit in Mumbai (WAVES), the WAVES Bazaar is transitioning into a year-round engagement hub by launching a structured series of industry-led webinars and masterclasses.
The initiative is designed to strengthen professional capacity across India’s film, music, animation, and gaming sectors, stated an official statement yesterday from the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the government organisation that executed the WAVES concept propounded by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The upcoming programme will focus on providing creators, studios, and start-ups with direct access to established industry professionals. The key areas of focus include:
# Practical Content Creation: Insights into production and creative workflows.
# Monetisation & IP: Strategies for intellectual property and revenue generation.
# Global Reach: Market preparedness and digital ecosystems for international outreach.
These interactive online sessions will feature dedicated Q&A segments, ensuring that independent professionals and entrepreneurs can engage directly with experts to facilitate real-world knowledge exchange.
To make it a year-round engagement platform, WAVES Bazaar will conduct a structured series of industry-led webinars and masterclasses throughout the year, aimed at strengthening professional capacity across India’s film, music, animation and gaming sectors. The programme is designed to facilitate knowledge exchange, global market preparedness and sector-specific insights through direct engagement with established industry professionals.
The webinar programme forms part of WAVES Bazaar’s broader mandate to support creative entrepreneurship, global collaboration and ecosystem development.
All participants will receive a Certificate of Participation from WAVES Bazaar upon successful completion of the sessions.
The platform serves as a central hub for stakeholders in television, gaming, advertising, XR and allied fields. Since its inception, the platform has achieved significant milestones, including over 5,000 registered buyers and sellers, and over 1,900 active projects across multiple verticals.
