Viswanathan V, head of brand and sports marketing at Hotstar, has decided to move on after a two-and-a-half-year stint.
Viswanathan V announced his departure from Hotstar via a LinkedIn post.
In his post, he said, “I recently decided to move on from Disney+ Hotstar, after an immensely challenging yet rewarding 2.5yr stint.
Going from the familiar, highly structured, and fairly predictable environment of my past org, to this manic, frenetic, and audacity-fueled place that was Hotstar,” Viswanathan added.
Viswanathan was leading brand marketing for Disney+Hotstar’s subscription brands- Disney+Hotstar VIP and Disney+Hotstar premium.
He was also responsible for sports marketing, including marketing strategy and campaign development for the IPL tournament.
Prior to Disney+Hotstar, Viswanathan was associated with Unilever for over a decade in different roles.
