Vijay Sethupathi-starrer Tamil film ‘Baththa’ is set to release in theatres worldwide on October 1. The film is directed by Balaji Tharaneetharan and marks his third collaboration with Sethupathi.

According to a PTI report, the duo previously worked together on ‘Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom’ and ‘Seethakaathi’.

‘Baththa’ is presented by Atlee and is jointly produced by A For Apple Studios and Cine1 Studios Production. The film is produced by Murad Khetani, Priya Atlee, Alok Jain and Ajit Andhare.

Lijomol Jose, known for her role in ‘Jai Bhim’, plays the female lead in the film. The cast also includes Ajay Ghosh.

The film has music by Sai Abhyankkar, while Selvakumar SK has handled the cinematography. R. Kalaivanan is the editor and T. Muthuraj is the production designer. Ashwin Murugan is the co-producer.
