Vijay launches India Today Tamil YouTube channel at Chennai roundtable

India Today TV has launched the India Today Tamil YouTube channel, a new digital platform focused on Tamil Nadu news, current affairs and in-depth analysis in Tamil.

According to a India Today press release today, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay launched the channel on Monday at the India Today Tamil Nadu Roundtable in Chennai. The launch was marked by a message to ‘let truth speak louder’.

The event coincides with the TVK government completing 100 days in office and marks Vijay’s first media interaction since taking charge as Chief Minister in May following the 2026 Tamil Nadu Assembly elections.

The India Today Tamil Nadu Roundtable brings together political leaders, policymakers, business representatives and entertainment personalities to discuss the state’s key issues and the government’s performance.

Sports Minister Aadhav Arjuna is scheduled to present the government’s achievements during its first 100 days. Former BJP leader K Annamalai will discuss his political journey and future plans in a session titled ‘Annamalai Beyond BJP’.

The event will also feature discussions on delimitation, the Cauvery water dispute, Tamil Nadu’s economy and investment prospects. Other key topics include corruption, education, energy, finance and healthcare.

Several political leaders, including Durai Vaiko, Praveen Chakravarty, Tamilisai Soundararajan, Salem Dharanidharan, Anbumani Ramadoss and Dayanidhi Maran, are participating in different sessions. Actor Dhruv Vikram will also join the programme for an exclusive session.
