Actor Varun Dhawan concluded the Kerala schedule for his upcoming action-packed venture, ‘VD18,’ marking the milestone with a social media announcement on Wednesday.
Taking to Instagram, Dhawan shared glimpses of the Kerala leg of filming, expressing gratitude with the caption, “Thank u Kerala. Sched wrap #vd18.” The shared images showcased the ‘Badlapur’ star overlooking a serene lake, dressed casually in a t-shirt, black shorts, and slippers, ANI reported.
Despite a recent leg injury, which Dhawan candidly shared on his Instagram stories, the actor continues his commitments in the film industry.
Directed by Kalees and produced by Atlee and Murad Khetani, ‘VD18’ also stars Keerthy Suresh and Wamiqa Gabbi. Wamiqa, elated about her involvement in the project, expressed her excitement, citing it as a thrilling experience collaborating with talents like Dhawan and Suresh under Atlee’s visionary direction.
While the film’s details remain under wraps from the makers, anticipation brews among fans for this promising action flick.
Dhawan, who was last seen opposite Janhvi Kapoor in director Nitesh Tiwari’s romantic drama ‘Bawaal,’ premiered exclusively on Amazon Prime Video to a positive reception.
Furthermore, the actor gears up for the Indian adaptation of the renowned Hollywood series ‘Citadel,’ co-starring Samantha Ruth Prabhu. Created by Raj and DK, the Indian version, inspired by the Russo Brothers’ series, features Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden in the international rendition, with the Indian adaptation’s release date yet to be announced.
As Dhawan bids adieu to the Kerala schedule of ‘VD18,’ the film’s progress continues to spark curiosity and anticipation among movie enthusiasts eagerly awaiting the action-packed extravaganza.
