TV9 Network has announced the second edition of its prestigious international event—the News9 Global Summit—which will be held in Dubai on June 19, 2025. With the central theme of ‘India-UAE: Partnership for Prosperity and Progress’, the summit aims to foster deeper trade, economic, strategic, and cultural collaborations between the two nations. This follows the success of the network’s inaugural global summit held in Stuttgart, Germany, in November 2024.
According to a press release issued by TV9 Network, the event will take place at Taj Dubai and will bring together a distinguished line-up of policymakers, business leaders, innovators, Bollywood celebrities, and Indian as well as Emirati influencers. The gathering is positioned as a high-level forum to highlight the strengthening ties between India and the UAE, with a particular focus on sustainability, innovation, and cross-border synergy.
Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas, Shri Hardeep Singh Puri, will headline the summit with the keynote address, setting the tone for critical bilateral dialogue. Spiritual leader Pujya Brahmavihari Swami of the BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha is also slated to speak, spotlighting the unique cultural and spiritual connection between the two countries. India’s Ambassador to the UAE, Shri Sunjay Sudhir, will present an address on the growing strategic importance of the India-UAE partnership in global diplomacy.
Commenting on the launch, Barun Das, Managing Director & CEO, TV9 Network, said, “Following the momentum generated by our first Global Summit in Germany, we are excited to bring News9 Global Summit to the UAE, a thriving nation of innovation and commerce. This platform reflects our vision to create meaningful, cross-border partnerships that drive sustainable progress. India and the UAE share a dynamic relationship, and the Summit will be a pivotal space for dialogue and collaboration.”
The agenda promises stimulating discussions on a wide spectrum of topics central to Indo-UAE relations. Key areas of focus will include the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA), the India-Middle East-Europe Corridor (IMEC), AI-driven growth, start-up collaboration, tariff-related challenges, and cultural linkages. These sessions will feature expert panels and influential stakeholders from both countries.
Adding glamour and star power to the event, the summit will host Bollywood personalities such as action star Suniel Shetty, television mogul Ektaa Kapoor, and actress Nargis Fakhri. Their participation is expected to bring in a unique perspective on India’s growing soft power and its cultural exports to the Middle East.
The event has attracted wide-ranging support from both Indian and UAE-based organisations. UAE’s Buimerc is the Summit Patron. Associate sponsors include globally recognised brands such as De Beers, TATA AIG Insurance, and the National Egg Co-ordination Committee. Other key supporters include Classmate, Hanok, JK Super Cement, and Womenpreneur magazine. SKIL Travels will handle travel arrangements, while SOIL and Sita Vatika will serve as celebration partners. Mumbai’s Famous Studios is on board as the entertainment partner, with Khaleej Times lending support as the official media partner. The Indian People’s Forum, based in Abu Dhabi, is participating as the Diaspora Partner.
The News9 Global Summit UAE 2025 is poised to be a defining event in the India-UAE diplomatic calendar, offering unparalleled networking opportunities, insightful conversations, and strategic partnerships that will shape the future of bilateral trade and collaboration.
