Truecaller, the renowned global communications platform recognized for its caller identification and spam-blocking services, has announced the appointment of Seema Jindal as the Head of Public Affairs, Telecom in India. This strategic move is set to enhance Truecaller’s efforts in navigating the regulatory landscape of the telecommunications industry.
Seema Jindal brings a wealth of experience to her new role, with an impressive 25-year career at Airtel, where she held various key positions. Her background includes significant roles in regulatory, interconnection, and compliance functions, most recently serving as the Head of Regulatory Affairs for DLT, DTH, Teleports, and VSAT. Additionally, she was the Head of Compliance & Audit for Regulatory Affairs, underscoring her expertise in navigating complex regulatory environments.
In her capacity at Truecaller, Jindal will engage with crucial government ministries and agencies, including the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), the Department of Telecommunications (DoT), and the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MEITY). Her primary responsibilities will involve ensuring regulatory and policy support for Truecaller’s ongoing growth and innovation in the Indian market.
