The Times Drive Green Conclave & Awards 2024, hosted by Times Network Digital in New Delhi, brought together automotive industry leaders, innovators, and policymakers to honor outstanding achievements in electric mobility and sustainability. Gadkari emphasized the importance of transitioning to alternative fuels like bio-CNG, ethanol, methanol, biodiesel, and hydrogen to reduce pollution and fossil fuel imports. He also highlighted the growing popularity of CNG-powered vehicles and the rapid development of bio-CNG projects in India. He expressed his confidence that India’s automobile sector would become the largest globally in the next five years, contributing to economic growth and sustainable development.
