Yash Raj Films has unveiled the trailer for ‘Tiger 3’ starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, directed by Maneesh Sharma. In this action-packed installment, Khan reprises his role as the superspy Tiger, embarking on a ‘personal’ mission to protect his family from a formidable adversary.
Emraan Hashmi takes on the role of the primary antagonist, while Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, known as Pathaan in the YRF spyverse, makes a special appearance, PTI reported from Mumbai.
The trailer kicks off with an intense action sequence, featuring Tiger evading armed pursuers on a motorcycle. His new handler, portrayed by Revathi, describes him as the ultimate protector of the nation against its enemies.
As the narrative unfolds, the audience hears a mysterious voice-over, seeking revenge against Tiger for ruining their lives. Hashmi embodies the role of a battle-hardened warlord in Pakistan, leading his men on a relentless pursuit of Tiger across various locations, resulting in a series of action-packed sequences.
Katrina joins the fray as Zoya, a former ISI agent and Tiger’s wife, adding her own brand of devastation to the mix. The trailer teases a dramatic choice for Tiger as Hashmi’s character utters, “The choice is simple – you can either save your family or your country.”
The trailer concludes with a gripping scene of Tiger held captive in Pakistan, locking eyes with his arch-nemesis.
Written by Shridhar Raghavan with dialogue by Anckur Chaudhry, ‘Tiger 3’ is the latest addition to YRF’s expanding Spy Universe, following the events of ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ (2017), ‘War’ (2019), and ‘Pathaan’ (2023).
Previous installments in the ‘Tiger’ series were directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and Kabir Khan, respectively.
‘Tiger 3’ is set to hit theaters on November 12, coinciding with the Diwali weekend, promising an electrifying cinematic experience.
