The criminal escapades of Eddie Horniman and Susie Glass will continue in ‘The Gentlemen’ S2. The series, inspired by Guy Ritchie’s film of the same name, is set to return to Netflix, promising a deeper dive into Britain’s criminal elite.
Theo James reprises his role as Eddie, the new Duke of Halstead, who inherits both the family estate and an underground weed farm. Alongside him, Kaya Scodelario returns as Susie Glass, the formidable crime boss, with Ray Winstone as her father, Bobby. The first season saw Eddie and Susie forming an unlikely alliance, leading to Eddie’s partnership in the Glass family’s expansive drug empire.
Season 2 will feature James, Scodelario, and Daniel Ings, who plays Eddie’s brother Freddy, with additional casting details to be announced. Guy Ritchie returns as director and co-writer alongside Matthew Read. Filming is expected to start next year.
The new season will explore the next steps for Eddie and Susie’s business and their evolving relationship. “It’d be fun to see the business spread a bit more,” Scodelario shared. “How do they continue to build the empire while avoiding the chop game?”
James hints at the dynamic between Eddie and Susie, saying, “There’s a love between them, but ultimately they will never be from the same cloth.”
‘The Gentlemen’ is produced by Moonage Pictures for Netflix and Miramax Television, with Ritchie, Will Gould, Read, Frith Tiplady, Marc Helwig, and Ivan Atkinson serving as executive producers.
