PVR INOX Pictures has announced the eagerly awaited release of Jason Statham’s latest high-octane thriller, ‘The Beekeeper‘, in Indian theatres on January 19, 2024.
Directed by acclaimed filmmaker David Ayer, known for hits like ‘Street Kings,’ ‘Suicide Squad,‘ and ‘End of Watch‘, the movie promises an electrifying experience, PTI reported.
Kamal Gianchandani, CEO of PVR INOX Pictures Ltd, expressed the company’s excitement, stating, “We at PVR INOX Pictures are thrilled to bring ‘The Beekeeper’ to Indian audiences, showcasing the renowned Jason Statham. Following his blockbuster performances in movies like the ‘Fast and Furious’ series and ‘The Meg 2,’ the much-anticipated release of ‘The Beekeeper’ is set to redefine the movie experience with screenings in both traditional theatres and IMAX.”
The storyline follows Adam Clay (played by Statham), a retired member of the covert group ‘The Beekeepers’. After leading a tranquil life caring for his bees, Adam is pulled back into action when his elderly neighbour falls prey to a malevolent scheme, setting the stage for an intense narrative.
Alongside Statham, the film features a stellar cast including Emmy Raver-Lampman, Josh Hutcherson, Bobby Naderi, Minnie Driver, Phylicia Rashad and Jeremy Irons, promising a gripping ensemble performance.
