The Tennis Premier League (TPL) has announced a strategic partnership with Viacom18 as its official broadcast partner for the upcoming sixth season, which will take place from December 3 to 8 at the Cricket Club of India. Through this collaboration, fans across the country will be able to enjoy the event via JioCinema and the Sports18 network.
This year’s TPL promises an exciting twist with a new 25-point format, designed to enhance viewer engagement and deliver an electrifying experience. The event will feature renowned athletes, including Rohan Bopanna and India’s current No. 1 Sumit Nagal, alongside international stars like US Open Doubles champion Max Purcell, France’s Hugo Gaston, and Armenia’s Elina Avanesyan, The Economic Times reported.
Adding to the tournament’s prestige, tennis legends Leander Paes, Mahesh Bhupathi, and Sania Mirza will be leading their respective teams, further cementing the TPL‘s status as a premier tennis event in India. The competition will include matches in Men’s Singles, Women’s Singles, Mixed Doubles, and Men’s Doubles, with 100 points at stake per match, creating a dynamic and high-stakes environment.
With TPL’s innovative format and the involvement of top-tier national and international players, the sixth season is set to captivate tennis fans, establishing itself as one of the most anticipated events on the Indian sports calendar.
