Kolkata-based SVF Entertainment, a pioneer in Bengali entertainment, is making significant strides in Bangladesh’s film industry.
The studio’s collaboration with Dhaka based Alpha-I Studios and the OTT platform Chorki marks a milestone, announcing the production of two major Bangladeshi films, ‘Toofan’ and ‘Domm’, Financial Express has reported.
While spotlighting its Bangladeshi market entry, SVF Entertainment also highlighted its initiatives in other territories. The studio announced the production of two Telugu shows, ‘Dayaa’ and ‘Vadhuvu‘ for Disney+ Hotstar, diversifying its content portfolio.
Mahendra Soni, co-founder and director of SVF Entertainment & Hoichoi, emphasized the studio’s commitment to strengthening ties with Bangladesh’s entertainment sector. He, according to the FE report, stated, “Our objective goes beyond mere film production. We aim to cultivate a community and culture that celebrates Bengali cinema. Our mission is to ensure Bengali language films resonate globally, delivering projects that meet international standards.”
