Bollywood actor Sunny Deol is set to return to the big screen with his upcoming crime thriller ‘Suryaa’, which will release in cinemas on November 20, 2026. The makers announced the release date on Monday and unveiled the film’s motion poster.

Sharing the motion poster on Instagram, Deol wrote, “Torn between Past and Present, He uncovers the TRUTH! Presenting SURYAA: Ant se Aarambh tak. IN CINEMAS 20th November 2026.”

The film also stars Ravi Kishan and Pragya Jaiswal. Directed by M. Padmakumar, ‘Suryaa’ is produced by MM Moviez, with Deepak Mukut, Hemmant Mukut, Lokesh Mukut and Kamal Mukut serving as producers.

Speaking about the project, producer Kamal Mukut said he had signed Deol for two films, ‘Gadar 2’ and ‘Suryaa’. He said the success of ‘Gadar 2’, which went on to make a significant mark at the box office, motivated him to develop the new film.

“Motivated by its success, and drawing upon my experience of more than five decades in the industry, I created SURYAA — a story of a common man that will surely touch every life,” Mukut said.

He added that the film will present Deol in a different avatar, with the story unfolding across three phases of the character’s life.

“This gripping thriller is designed to transport audiences into two different eras,” the producer said.

With its crime-thriller narrative and a story spanning different periods, ‘Suryaa’ is scheduled to arrive in theatres on November 20, 2026.
